Chicago experiences mass shooting every single weekend without a peep from Joe Biden or any other Democrat, yet that didn’t stop him from decrying the “senseless gun violence” after a shooting on Independence Day rocked the Windy City.
In fact, the level of gun violence in Chicago has reached cartoonish levels and is the main fixture of daily life thanks to Mayor Lori Lightfoot and her Defend the Police policies. But any mention of Chicago’s gun death problem is off-limits as it forces liberals to confront the truth about which demographic is actually committing the murders.
Meanwhile, while residents of Highland Park, Illinois were trying to celebrate America’s independence, a crazed psychopath unleashed gunfire into a crowd of parade-goers, killing at least six and injuring dozens more.
The mass shooter was a disgruntled young white man who the left now claims is a Trump supporter, which is the only reason why Joe Biden issued a response to the tragedy. But one look at the shooter’s social media accounts discredits all ideological assumptions.

The commander in chief further said he has spoken to Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering and noted that he has “surged” federal law enforcement to help the search for the shooter, who remained at large hours after the shooting, but has since been taken into custody.
Six people were killed and at least 24 others were hospitalized after the morning shooting, according to officials. The suspect has been described as a white male approximately 18 to 20 years old with longer black hair, a small build, and wearing a white or blue T-shirt.
Firearm evidence was located at the scene on the rooftop of a local business, and the gun believed to have been used by the suspect is a “high-powered rifle,” police said.
In his statement, Biden also referred to gun safety legislation he signed last month after a string of other deadly mass shootings. “I recently signed the first major bipartisan gun reform legislation in almost 30 years into law, which includes actions that will save lives. But there is much more work to do. I’m not going to give up fighting the epidemic of gun violence,” he said.

Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to travel to Chicago on Tuesday for a previously scheduled address to the National Association of Educators convention.
We can only imagine the anti-gun rhetoric she will unleash on the Windy City!
