Have you been wondering what happened with the investigation by the Special Counsel into all of Joe Biden’s secret papers?
What’s funny is that we’ve seen a lot of leaks regarding the investigations into Trump, some of which were false, but we haven’t heard much about this. It’s interesting the way that works.
That being said, ABC is now releasing some material allegedly from “sources,” so you can immediately assume that whatever “facts” this information purports to provide must be regarded with caution. I can already see the spin coming together.
Their report says that the investigation has put out a “wide net” and done a “sprawling examination.”
“Since almost nine months ago, federal attorneys and FBI agents from the office of special counsel Robert Hur have been questioning witnesses about a wide range of former aides, including high-level advisers, chief assistants, as well as at at the very least one White House lawyer. Several sources say that interviews with roughly 100 witnesses already have taken place. Some of the witnesses were even asked to come back for follow-up interviews, which were done as recently as this past week.”
No matter what comes from this, you can be sure that they did everything they could and that they crossed all of their “ts” and “i’s.” Since they tried. Really hard.
If you weren’t sure how this was going to end, this might make it clear.
“After speaking with witnesses and other sources who were present for some of the interviews, ABC News learned that although authorities had reportedly discovered instances of negligence during Biden’s vice presidency, they felt that the improper removing of classified papers from Biden’s office during his 2017 departure from the White House was probably more of an error than a criminal offense.”
ABC News was told, “However, the special counsel has not yet made any final decisions, and the investigation is still ongoing.”
Do you remember how frequently the news has been complaining about former President Trump? He is charged with a crime. But Biden has secret papers all over the place, in several places, including his garage, which is not locked, and an office inside a public building. He says these are just “mistakes.” That’s just the way things are now: if you are a Republican, everything appears to be against you, yet if you are a Democrat, everything is okay with you.
Have they inquired how he was able to remove the paper or documents from 1974 that Biden himself mentioned when serving as a senator? He was not able to bring things into his office the same way he had as vice president. How did he get them out of a SCIF? Why isn’t that a crime?
