AOC Tax Cheat? Socialist Skirts Civic Duties

Socialism requires (or demands) the entire population pay their fare, “equal” share through the use of excessive taxation, regulation, and bureaucracy. For socialism to thrive, which is AOC’s entire goal, everyone at all times must “donate” a large portion of their earnings to the State for the betterment of everyone else.

Not to mention AOC’s incessant whining about billionaires (people who actually innovate and produce a product or service that Americans deem beneficial) for refusing to pay their “fair share.”

Remember the ridiculous stunt she pulled at the Met Gala? When she wore that ‘Tax the Rich’ dress while masked servants ushered her around crowds of the mega-wealthy liberal elite?

Well, it appears that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a tax cheat herself and is currently racking up fines for a failure to resolve a New York state tax warrant.

Brook Avenue Press, a publishing house specializing in children’s books, received a tax warrant from New York state in 2017 for failure to pay $1,618 in corporate taxes.

The kicker? AOC founded Brook Avenue Press in 2012.

The Democratic Socialist has failed to her overdue tax bill and fines are continually compounding. As of Wednesday afternoon, AOC’s tax bill swelled to a whopping $2,461.

The state filed its tax warrant against Ocasio-Cortez’s defunct business about two months after she launched her successful primary campaign against former Rep. Joe Crowley.

The money that AOC refuses to fork over could be used for transgender healthcare, child chemical castration, out-of-womb abortions, or whichever psychotic left-wing cause she’s plugging at the time.

AOC initially agreed to pay her outstanding corporate tax bill, but later changed her tune. A statement from her spokesperson claimed the IRS warrant was issued “in error” and the socialist rep. would be challenged the order.

She did however own up to being the founder of Brook Avenue Press, thus admitting full responsibility for the delinquent bill. AOC reported previous business dealings on her House financial disclosure report.

At this point, it’s not clear whether AOC is still challenging the tax warrant or plans to pay the fines and resolve the matter.

The Democrat ‘Squad’ leader isn’t doing too bad herself. Taxpayers have given AOC a whopping $522,000 before taxes for her congressional salary, and that’s only for three years. And let’s not forget the first move Rep. Ocasio-Cortez made upon arriving at Congress.

She immediately called for tax rates up to 70% for America’s highest earners to find her ridiculous Green New Deal policies.

A true visionary!
